Jaume Bach (Sabadell, 1943) and Gabriel Mora (Barcelona, 1941) graduated from the School of Architecture in Barcelona in 1969 and 1966 respectively. Both architects worked in the studio of Martorell/Bohigas/Mackay between 1965 and 1967. Their work has been exhibited on numerous occasions in Europe and America, and they have received various awards, including FAD prizes in 1982, 1987, 1988 and 1989, nomination for the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion European Awards, and the Brunel Commendation of the International Awards for Outstanding Visual Design in Public Railway Transport in 1989 (Utrecht), 1992 (Madrid) and 1994 (Washington).
The present book, the most complete to date on these architects' work, offers a chronological selection of the most significant works and projects produced since 1975, each one accompanied by numerous illustrations in colour and black & white, as well as abundant architectural documentation.
